Operations Officer
- Diploma in Reservations (should be fluent in spoken / writing English)
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer services.
- Good interpersonal skills with strong ability of a team player
- Attention to details
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
- Able to work long and odd hours
- Planning itineraries, and arranging accommodations and other travel services for customers of absolute Maldives.
- Converses with customer to determine resort, type of holiday, dates financial considerations and other points such as transfers and meal supplements.
- Provides client with brochures and publications containing travel information, customs, points of updates clients with country regulations, such as consular requirements and currency limitations and similar.
- Computes cost of travel and accommodations, using calculator, computer, carrier tariff books, and hotel rate books, or quotes package tours' cost
- Contacts motel, hotel, resort, and travel operators by mail or telephone to obtain advertising literature
- Informs client of travel dates, times, connections, baggage limits, medical and visa requirements, and emergency information
- Follow up with the payments and update the payment status of debtors daily
- Answer the telephone phone politely and assist accordingly
- Update and maintain precise reports on travel activity and daily sales
- Regularly check emails and action all mails accordingly with a 24hrs period
