About Netball Association of the Maldives

The Netball Association of the Maldives (NAM) was formed on Women’s Day in 1996, but was officiated in 1998. Since then, NAM has successfully steered netball into becoming the nation’s most favored sport for women, and developing several national players who are top-level international athletes in the game. NAM’s affiliations with the International Federation of Netball Associations (IFNA), Asian Federation of Netball Associations (AFNA), and the National Olympic Committee (NOC) have given Maldivian players opportunities to demonstrate their talents in prestigious international tournaments.
